iPhone 5C

The iPhone 5C, stylized iPhone 5c, is a touchscreen-based smartphone developed by Apple Inc. It is one of two successors to the iPhone 5, along with its higher-end counterpart, the iPhone 5S. Apple held an event to formally introduce the iPhone 5C and 5S on September 10, 2013, and is currently taking pre-orders for the 5C on carrier sites. Therefore discontinuing sales on the previous iPhone 5.
The iPhone 5C runs on the latest iteration of the iOS operating systemiOS 7, which was announced at the company's Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2013.[1]
The 5C uses much of the same hardware as the iPhone 5, lacking new features from the 5S: it uses the previous A6 chip from the iPhone 5 instead of the A7, does not include fingerprint recognition, and lacks the Burst iSight camera mode and Slow-motion video recording mode. It uses apolycarbonate casing (in blue, green, pink, yellow, and white colors) instead of the metal used by the 5 and 5S.[2]

The iPhone 5C will make use of Apple's previous generation A6 processor, the same processor that powered the iPhone 5. Apple announced during the keynote that the iPhone 5C will use most of the same internals of the iPhone 5,[15] except the battery, which has increased in capacity,[16] and antennas, which have been redesigned for the plastic body and now cover more LTE bands than any other smartphone according to Apple.[15] The iPhone 5C will not make use of the iPhone 5S' Touch ID fingerprint scanner. iPhone 5C features a 4-inch multi-touch display, which has 1136×640 pixels resolution, however, it will be cheaper than the higher-end 5 and 5S models. iPhone 5C will be available in 16 GB and 32 GB capacities, and in the U.S., it will cost $99 and $199 on a 2-year contract, or $549 and $649 off-contract, respectively.[17]

iPhone 5S

The iPhone 5S, stylized iPhone 5s, is a touchscreen-based smartphone developed by Apple Inc. It is part of the iPhone line, and was released on September 20, 2013. Apple held an event to formally introduce the phone (and its mid-range counterpart, the iPhone 5C) on September 10. Like theiPhone 4S, the 5S is a revised version of its predecessor, the iPhone 5, but also incorporates a Samsung-built[3] 64-bit Apple A7 processor and a built-in fingerprint sensor called Touch ID on its updated home button.
The 5S is supplied with iOS 7, the seventh version of Apple's iOS mobile operating system, which is based on the concept of direct manipulation, using multi-touch gestures. Interface control elements consist of sliders, switches, and buttons. Interaction with the OS includes gestures such asswipetappinch, and reverse pinch, all of which have specific definitions in the context of the iOS operating system and its multi-touch interface. New features in iOS 7 include Control CenterAirDropiTunes Radio, and a new flat design directed by Jonathan Ive.
Reviews for the iPhone 5S were generally positive; some reviewers called it the best smartphone on the market. While Touch ID was praised as a major market changer, many commentators believed that iOS 7 was the most major update to the smartphone line. The 64-bit Apple A7 was also favored. Pundits claimed that it is a catalyst for various new applications from developers.

Iphone 5

The iPhone 5 features iOS, Apple's mobile operating system.[24] The user interface of iOS is based on the concept of direct manipulation, using multi-touch gestures. Interface control elements consist of sliders, switches, and buttons.[25] Interaction with the OS includes gestures such as swipetappinch, and reverse pinch, all of which have specific definitions within the context of the iOS operating system and its multi-touch interface. Internal accelerometers are used by some applications to respond to shaking the device (one common result is the undo command) or rotating it vertically (one common result is switching from portrait to landscape mode)

Design

Apple emphasized the improved build quality of the iPhone 5 at its press event.[10] The frame used in previous versions was redesigned to use an aluminum composite frame.[36]The iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S used stainless steel instead of aluminium due to Steve Jobs' preference for the metal which he thought, "looks beautiful when it wears".[37]
All versions of the iPhone 5 are 18% thinner, 20% lighter, and have 12% less overall volume than its predecessor, the iPhone 4S. The phone's aluminum body is 0.30 in (7.6 mm) thick. Apple at the conference claims it is the thinnest smartphone in the world at 7.6 mm, though that claim has been disputed as the Oppo Finder is thinner and some other smartphones can be considered to be thinner, depending upon where thickness is measured. The Oppo Finder measures 6.65 mm at its thinnest point and 7.1 mm at its thickest point making it overall thinner than the iPhone

HTC Explorer

The HTC Explorer, code-named HTC Pico is a smartphone developed by the HTC Corporation announced in September 2011.[1]
Because of the low end processor, the HTC Watch movie rental service and the 3D scrolling effects on the homescreens are not available. The handset comes in a huge variety[citation needed] of color options.
Its appearance is very similar to the HTC Wildfire S and it comes with a 3.2 inch HVGA screen, a 600mhz Qualcomm Scorpion processor and runs the Android operating system. It runs the HTC Sense 3.5 user interface.
The Explorer's outer shell is made of patterned plastic that has a rubbery feel to it - creating an impression of ruggedness to match its name. The plate of brushed metal at the center of the rear backs that up too.
Small as it is, the Explorer has Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread with Sense UI 3.5 on top. The Explorer leaves behind the old ARMv6 processor and moves to the Snapdragon S1 platform that comes with ARMv7. Although the hardware of the phone seems low end, developers and modders have managed to run Nvidia Tegra 3 games on it.

iPhone 4

Design

The iPhone 4 features a redesigned structure, designed by Jonathan Ive. Most notably, the bulges of the back panel as well as the band between the front and back are gone and have been replaced with flattened surfaces. The redesign reflects the utilitarianism and uniformity of existing Apple products, such as the iPad and the iMac. The overall dimensions of the iPhone 4 have been reduced from its predecessor.

The iPhone 4 is a touchscreen 3G smartphone developed by Apple Inc. It is the fourth generation iPhone, and successor to theiPhone 3GS. It is particularly marketed for video calling (marketed by Apple as FaceTime), consumption of media such as books and periodicals, movies, music, and games, and for general web and e-mail access. It was announced on June 7, 2010, at theWWDC 2010 held at the Moscone Center, San Francisco, and was released on June 24, 2010, in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan.
